About Institute

“Rehabilitation Home for Autistic & Mentally Retarded (RHAM)” is a welfare-oriented, private, non-political, and non-profitable charity organization which is dedicated to providing services to neuro-developmentally disabled persons. Neuro-developmentally disabled persons don’t receive social security, motivation, social acceptance and job opportunities. This organization is working towards permanent rehabilitation for all disabled people by developing a shelter so that they would not need to be burden on others when their parents would no longer beside them. Providing permanent rehabilitation through bringing these children under 24-hour routine service. For now, this program has started for boys & girls.

Our Mission

Supporting and serving the mentally retarded children to ensure their security, inspiration for survival, social acceptance, employment opportunity etc. RHAM is conducting its activities to find a rehabilitation home for these children so that they would not be remained as a burden to anybody when their parents would not remain with them anymore.

Our Vission

Ensuring the equal rights,dignity, equal opportunity, equal participation for the mentally retarded children [Intellectually disabilities, Autistic, ADHD, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Development delay] as the normal people in their families, society and above all in our country.

Objective

i. To establish a permanent residential arrangement named "Rehabilitation Home for Autistic and Mentally Retarded" (RHAM) for the gifted children. ii. Our goal is to fulfill all the basic needs of Autistic and mentally disabled children and establishing their rights by rehabilitating them. iii. Creating job opportunity and rehabilitating widow, divorced, unmarried and socially neglected women is also one of the goals of RHAM. iv. Developing health knowledge, educational and vocational skills of these gifted children and making it sustainable is one of the important goals of this organization. v. Formulating plans, schemes and executing those to ensure the total welfare of these Autistic and mentally retarded children. vi. Fulfilling all the basic needs and establishing the rights of the gifted children. vii. Support these gifted children to be self-reliant by providing them training of different regular personal activities practically. viii. Organizing special education, training and workshop for them. ix. Arranging physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, special educator, sign language learning sessions for those children according to their needs. x. Taking initiatives to create employment opportunity for those gifted children & women and making them financially self-sufficient. xi. Increasing awareness among people and the guardians of those gifted children. xii. Ensuring their participations in sports,cultural and entertainment activities. xiii. Taking initiatives to establish the rights of those gifted children and helpless women andensuring human rights. xiv. Initiating different financial projects for their economic liberation. xv. Inspiring to lead a religious and religious life by learning and studying the holy Quran. xvi. Making these special children self-reliant by arranging different types of handicrafts training and workshops.
